MPS Thunder is a McLEAN PREMIER SOCCER Team.
As an MPS travel team, Thunder players also receive additional field and goalkeeper training from the McLean Premier Soccer program and Curt Onalfo Soccer. MPS is a professionally coached program headed by US National Men's Team Assistant Coach Curt Onalfo and was created to provide the best and most age-appropriate training and coaching to the strongest, most skilled, and most committed soccer players. The team practices and plays 10 months a year, including a summer team camp, fall and spring seasons in the NCSL, and at least one winter indoor league, so we are looking for very committed players. In Fall 2007, we will compete for the U16 Boys Virginia State Cup. In addition, the team usually participates in two tournaments in the fall and another two tournaments in the spring (Check out our "Tournament News").
